COBRA Administration
Self-Funded Plans, Inc. makes sure that your Plan is in compliance with the COBRA regulations. A COBRA first notification is sent out to the employee/spouse when they first become eligible for coverage. Upon a qualifying event, a COBRA election letter is sent to the qualified beneficiary/spouse. Self-Funded Plans, Inc. handles all inquiries by the qualified beneficiary, collects the monthly premium from the qualified beneficiary, and keeps track of the account. A COBRA status report is sent to the Employer monthly. Upon termination of COBRA, a letter is sent to the qualified beneficiary.
